After careful consideration, and with the full support of my family and friends, I would like to formally announce my candidacy for the office of Mayor in the upcoming Portage la Prairie municipal election in October.
Summary
If elected as your Mayor, I will work with council, business leaders, and all citizens, to ensure that Portage la Prairie becomes the safe, dynamic community that we all deserve, and that we all know it can be.
Not only will my three decades of business experience and my intimate knowledge of our city serve you well, but I also have countless friends and allies in the local business community, and a father who many of you know spent 10 years as a Portage la Prairie city councillor. With this group of bright, caring, and progressive-minded individuals at my side to turn to for support and advice when needed, I know I can do my best to address all citizen concerns, be accessible to everyone, and move Portage la Prairie forward!
I am financing my own campaign, and as such, will only be accountable to you, the taxpayers of Portage la Prairie.
